Ruth, a super soft slip-on T-shirt dress that doubles up as a V-neck button down dress on the reverse. Wear it on either side depending on the occasion and how you feel! It's meticulously made to have a relaxed fit while still flattering our curves. Breastfeed easily on-the-go by undoing the buttons on the V-neck side or use the side zips. 

  • Two-way neckline (Crew neck or V-neck)
  • Snap buttons & side zips for breastfeeding access

Wash & Care Guide

  • Wash with similar colors.
  • Laundry bag recommended.
  • Air dry only, no tumble drying. If you tumble dry, note there might be some shrinkage—a tip you can use if you want shorter pants.
  • Use a steam iron if needed.

Comfy, flattering and perfect for everyday wear

I contemplated this dress for a while and eventually decided to purchase it, as I wanted a sleeved dress that is suitable for work. I’m so glad I did!

I absolutely love this dress — it’s super functional and perfect for everyday wear. The bamboo fabric is soft, smooth, and breathable, so I don’t sweat easily and it doesn’t stick to my skin, making it comfortable to wear all day. I also love how it accentuates my curves and shapes the bum nicely without feeling tight or restrictive. I even received compliments on it, with people saying I look great! It’s the perfect blend of style and comfort, and I can see myself wearing it again and again.

Beautiful and Functional (Hannah & Ruth)

Bought 2 dresses (Hannah & Ruth) during a pop up at mothercare fair and received Hannah immediately and waited for Ruth which came in the mail. Love the thoughtfulness even in the packaging and the handwritten note. Felt quite nice to wait and anticipate for my new dress and it made special when it finally came.

When I tried the dresses on (at both the fair and at home) and they are made out of such good quality and I could tell the design is well thought out. The feel of the fabrics are so nice and feel good on the skin. I love how everything has pockets, and it’s made to be functional (Hannah: waterproof & Ruth: so soft & breathable) and modern in look, making me look effortless and stylish.

I love how I was able to personally see the changes of the Ruth dress from the fair & IG live and seeing how it was improved on after the feedback when I received it in the mail. To be part of the process was so unique to small businesses :)

Will continue to love them as they carry me to my new season and even after that! Thank you so much Olive Basics!

Comfy and versatile!

Managed to try on some pieces when OB had a booth at the Mothercare fair. Was amazed by how smooth and soft the fabrics were. The designs were really well thought out especially for nursing mums, convenient to breastfeed yet discreet. Really loved the side zips which are really uncommon for nursing clothes. You get what you pay for!
