Deborah Kimono Nursing Cardigan - Key Features
-
Built-in hidden buttons and loops
This is the highlight of Deborah's design! The placements of the buttons and holes are specifically placed such that you get to choose how much coverage is needed. When you're nursing your baby, you'd probably want a bit more space so you can peek at his or her expressions and provide more ventilation. During a pumping session, button up all the way to keep modest and discreet even in the workplace.
*Updated design: During our testing phase, many mums expressed that they'd like more coverage for the cardigan. So, we will be including 2 more buttons higher up on each side to keep you covered!

Back centre vent design
Other than being a cool detail, the back centre vent was created to make more room and comfort for mummy and baby when you are draping the cardigan across for nursing.
Let customers speak for us
from 19 reviewsI got a nursing tank top and shorts for nursing after I gave birth both are super comfy and wel made. I like the shorts because they are adjustable as I start to lose my pregnancy belly. Just wish I got them earlier!
I own the Esther Easy Latch Tank in 3 colors and it’s my go to choice of tops these days. It’s so versatile and matches with just about anything.
I bought one to try at first and fell in love with it. Then I got 2 more when they came out with more colours! It’s a soft material and I love how easily I can breastfeed with it. I wore it to the plane on my recent trip, throw a shirt over and boom it looks like an awesome airport outfit. I just love that it looks like any other clothes except it’s easy to breastfeed in!
Bought 2 dresses (Hannah & Ruth) during a pop up at mothercare fair and received Hannah immediately and waited for Ruth which came in the mail. Love the thoughtfulness even in the packaging and the handwritten note. Felt quite nice to wait and anticipate for my new dress and it made special when it finally came.
When I tried the dresses on (at both the fair and at home) and they are made out of such good quality and I could tell the design is well thought out. The feel of the fabrics are so nice and feel good on the skin. I love how everything has pockets, and it’s made to be functional (Hannah: waterproof & Ruth: so soft & breathable) and modern in look, making me look effortless and stylish.
I love how I was able to personally see the changes of the Ruth dress from the fair & IG live and seeing how it was improved on after the feedback when I received it in the mail. To be part of the process was so unique to small businesses :)
Will continue to love them as they carry me to my new season and even after that! Thank you so much Olive Basics!

Leah Super Stretch Slit Skirt
Olive Basics serves up quality clothing for maternity (both pregnancy and nursing friendly). I own the Hannah Reversible Midi Dress in both colours. I enjoy how easy it is to nurse my daughter in public (the side zips and d ring straps are intuitive to use in public) and the best part is that the dress is water resistant! I also own the kimono cardigan which doubles up as a nursing cover - perfect for everyday wear and is discreet.
Over all the items I have so far are of really amazing quality and I cannot recommend them more :)
Managed to try on some pieces when OB had a booth at the Mothercare fair. Was amazed by how smooth and soft the fabrics were. The designs were really well thought out especially for nursing mums, convenient to breastfeed yet discreet. Really loved the side zips which are really uncommon for nursing clothes. You get what you pay for!
Buy the skirt. Buy it in all colours. For someone that hardly goes to mother and baby fairs, and equally hardly buys “maternity/nursing” clothes, I’m glad I went down to one to take a look at the pieces in person. I walked away with not just 1, but three pieces of clothing (2 stretch skirts and the Lydia nursing dress on pre-order.)
The skirt is incredible because the waistband and skirt is extremely comfortable which you’ll come to appreciate as you go into your third trimester. This reckoning was especially after I wore another elastic waistband skirt from another insta-known brand and was mentally lamenting about how much more comfortable the Leah Super Stretch skirt was.
I call this skirt my pregnancy uniform and would buy a third colour in a heartbeat if they had one. The colours, although not my usual palette, are versatile to be paired with the padded tops from Uniqlo and their easy latch tanks (which I’m starting to eye!).
Got my hands on the Esther Easy Latch Tank in 2 different sizes, M/L for a snug fit while L/XL for a regular fit. Love the reversible neckline and built in bra!
Super comfortable, easy access for nursing, & holds my deflated boobs well (after nursing 😂)!
This is the softest nursing top I've ever owned hands down. Exceptional build quality, incredibly practical for breastfeeding discreetly and available in great colours too. I bought XS/S size which fits alright but could be slightly tighter at the shoulders especially if you plan to slip on wearable pumps. Other than that, an amazing top to add to the wardrobe!
Love the cool bamboo material and the clever design of a 2-way top which will allow me to vary the look for different occasions. The padding is of high quality and does not lose its shape easily. Great for on the go pumping and nursing and even as a braless top after breastfeeding. Quality is worth the price. Would love it in other colours like Navy too!
I got the Leah Super Strech Slit Skirt and the Sarah Reversible Button Tank in two colours. Even though I have two grown up kids…I love the gorgeous, very flattering and comfortable Olive Basics designs. The Tencel knit is such a ‘good feel’ material and I must say really cool for the hot weather of Singapore. I am in love with this outfit!
Excellent material and quality used for the products sold by Olive Basics.
I've worn these for a few times now and I'm surprised that they are still so soft and comfy. The shape of the shirts hold and I'm happy to recommend them to everyone even if they're not mothers.
